Had an amazing takeaway recently and I tried to replicate the lamb saag. I used a mix of recipes but found it was totally tasteless and with no heat at all. I used ghee, fresh spinach and mutton. Cooked for hours and it was sosooso disappointing.
Didn't make the dhal but it was sooo buttery, but was put off by trialling another recipe.
Does anyone know of any decent, authentic recipes?
