please someone, tell me how to make potato wedges

i know it sounds daft but i always end up messing them up. i just want something plain, not spicy/cajun ones. pleeeeeeeeeeease!!! TIA x

Whack in microwave for 5 mins either side (similar to jacket potato). Then chop into wedges and shove in oven. If you're feeling health conscious, spray with Fry Light or if not, drizzle with oil (olive or vegetable). Bob's your uncle!

ive done them like that before but they always end up either mushy or stuck to the bottom of the pan (i had to throw the pan away! lol)

cut your washed but unpeeled potatos into wedges, heat oil in the baking tin until it is hot hot hot, and then add potatos to the oil , roast until brown and crispy at around 210 degrees.... add some rock salt and paprika when you throw them in the baking tin

yep. just like lulumama says. Sometimes I also wipe off excess moisture with kitchen paper after cutting into wedges so they are as dry as possible before they hit the oil...
