love pickles...never pickled anything myself !

how do i do it, do i need jars, if so, do they have to be prepared in any way?

hola! the only thing I have ever pickled is beetroot. with this i cook the beetroot then simmer it in cider vinegar with couple of teaspoons of sugar and a little bit of salt. The sugar and vinegar act to preserve the pickle. I have found the pickle keeps for a couple of months in the fridge no problem. hope thats of some help!
