Please give me your tuna pasta bake recipes and should I get an air fryer for one person?

Sorry for 2 questions in one thread but there we go.

I want to do a tuna pasta bake (I remember a bero cook book with a fabulous recipe which he peas and all manner of yummy things but long since lost )

And I live alone but wondering if an airfyer would be a good investment and if so - which to go for for one person?

I cheat and use a sauce for tuna pasta bake, recipie then in back of packet and I add whatever veg I have/want to it.

air fryer yes, they make delicious stuff and cheaper to run than oven.

Definitely get an air fryer , even more so for one person. I got mine from b and m I think , was about £30 ish. I can do hash browns and sausages in 13 mins as opposed to about 40 in the oven. You can even do cakes in it, though would have to be small ones . They don’t smell either, they’re bloody brilliant.

I fry some finely chopped onions in butter, then use that as the base for a roux for cheese sauce, mix in the pasta and drained tuna, chuck in some peas or sweetcorn, top with grated cheese and maybe sliced tomatoes, then bake in the oven. We always used to use condensed mushroom soup thinned with a bit of milk, but swapped to cheese sauce when we had kids because it was too high in salt.

Depends what you like. Personally I prefer a predominately tomato sauce so I tend to fry of a finely chopped onion, and a couple of diced peppers, add chopped tomatoes a little tomato purée, fresh basil and dried oregano and a really good glug of balsamic vinegar. Add tinned tuna and a can of sweetcorn and mix. Add this mix to cooked pasta and pour into oven proof dish. I then top with cheese and breadcrumbs before baking for 20-25 mins.

Air fryer is great for one or two people.
It's a mini-oven, & much quicker & cheaper than using a main oven
