Panasonic Breadmaker problems

My first PB died recently so bought a new model. But now the loaves we bake are a lot more doughy at the bottom, using exactly the same recipe and the wholewheat recipe setting. This was program 4 on the previous model - programme 6 on this one.

Has anyone else had the same problem?

Are you starting it straight away or using the timer? When we use the timer for a long time the loaves aren't successful.

Check the ingredients in the new recipe book. Ours had changed and needed less water in the new one.

No this is the 3 hour programme... so cooks straightaway.

Check the order of ingredients. My old machine and my new one day the exact opposite (the old one said add water first and the new one says to add it last)

Panasonic SD-B2510 White Breadmaker
Im looking at buying a new breadmaker, i had the SD2511 lovely machine loads of recipes in the recipes book. i have downloaded the users manual for the B2510 but it only has a few recipes in it, no Wholemeal loaf 50% or rapid Wholemeal load is this correct, can i make these in this breadmaker or should i be looking at another machine.

I don't really know, but a breadmaker makes bread. It warms ingredients, mixes them, keeps the dough warm as it rises and bakes.

So long as recipes use the right amounts for the pan, what could go wrong?
