Non greasy flapjack recipe?

I'm making a large amount of flapjacks for an event but the couple of recipes I have tried have been lovely and chewy but oh so greasy! I'd like to make a dryer one if that makes sense. Does anyone have a tried and tested recipe ?

I use the 'Carrot's flapjacks' recipe from 2 Fat Ladies. It is crispy rather than chewy, as flapjacks were when I was growing up:
6oz Demerara
6oz butter
8oz oats
Pinch of salt.
Heat butter and sugar together until the sugar is completely melted. Add oats and salt. Press into a lined tin. Bake at 180 for 30 mins but keep an eye on it so the edges don't catch.

Delicious, crispy and buttery.

We use a very ripe banana, mashed, a dollop of peanut butter and a dollop of Nutella and mix in oats until firm. 10 mins in the ninja and amazing flapjacks. If you like banana that is. I hate it. My daughter inhales them 😃

These always come out on the dry side, even with 3tbsp of syrup www.bbcgoodfood.com/recipes/yummy-golden-syrup-flapjacks

Thank you so much @Defiantlynot41 , I've just made a batch of these, exactly what I was after. Now to make 150 more!

Can you see this one op? They're delicious. Make sure to press the mixture down very tight
