Best lentil soup recipe?

Moved abroad, nowhere does it here. Would really like to try it this weekend. Can anyone give me a recipe?

Bonus points if it's Scottish 🤗 never had it in England

This lentil soup is Syrian rather than Scottish, but it is delicious.

I’m Glaswegian and my lentil soup made with red lentils & yellow split peas, carrot & turnip (swede if you’re not Scottish lol) a potato, leek & I always use ham stock cubes or if I’ve boiled a ham joint I just use the water from that
