Sacla pesto - recipe change?

Sacla pesto was on offer when I went shopping yesterday, but I noticed that the packaging has changed. I'm just wondering if the recipe has also changed? I hope not as it's been the same for years, unless it's a change for the better, of course. I hope it's not a downgrade of the ingredients due to inflation.

Has anyone had the version in the new packaging and noticed a difference?

Tastes the same to me. It's the only one I'll buy as all others taste like sludge, as if they've never even seen a basil leaf.

Seems the same although maybe a bit less olive oil but might just be the jar I got!

I think it's still the same.

I agree it's the only pesto to buy, all the others taste totally different!

I'm not sure, I thought it had changed too... I always check the % of pine nuts, as other nuts don't give an authentic taste IMHO.

*not that pesto in a jar is the real deal

It has sadly changed. Garlic has been added which I am allergic to so I will no longer be able to use it. A real shame for me as it was the only Garlic free pesto I have ever found to buy. 😟

Just blend or pestle and mortar basil, nuts, Parmesan, olive oil. That's it. Freeze bits or keep In the fridge. I made one with walnuts yesterday as I didn't have pine nuts. It's all the same.
