I batch made me 9 month old some sweet potato patties. I have frozen them, I defrost them over night in the fridge. But when I heat them up they go really dry.

can I just give him them cold when defrosted? They contain, egg, sweet pot and chickpeas

thanks

Why not heat them in a pan with water ‘ serve as a purée? I would not serve cold due to the egg I think

Can you serve with a yoghurt dip to add a little wetness?

Freeze them uncooked, then fry from frozen, that might work? The yoghurt dip is a good idea too.

Yes of course.
I’d leave them out for a little while so they’re room temperature rather than fridge cold but absolutely no reason why not.

If everything has been pre-cooked, I don't see why not.
How are you heating them up?
