Under the spell of Lidl again

I can never resist.

So now this jar of orange peel in syrup has been looking lusciously lovely in my cupboard for ages, but I don't know what to do with it.

Suggestions?

Chop up and put on top of ice cream or good Greek yoghurt, along with flaked almonds.

Possibly put them into brownies for a chocolate orange vibe?

Depending on how sweet, use them in a tagine, or in the couscous to accompany one.

Nice ideas. How about with French toast or to go really old school, with a slice of plain sponge and custard?

I made a lovely chicken, nduja and marmalade traybake from Delicious magazine which you could probably sub for the orange peel. Unfortunately I can’t find the recipe online.

I couldn't get past my pre-dc ideas which were, essentially, open jar and eat. My body could not cope with that nowadays!

The chicken tray bake is food for thought...I used to roast duck with marmalade...
