What is this kitchen tool?

Hi all,

We recently moved into a new rental, and the previous tenants accidentally left behind some kitchen implements. They've now left the country, and we've been told we can keep them. Does anyone know what these are? I'm quite sure one is a lemon zester, but is the other for punching holes in fondant?

Think it’s an apple corer?

First one is a zester for oranges and lemons. The second one is a corer for apples. Put it on the centre of the apple and push it down and it takes out the core.

I think we should propose recipes for OPs newly acquired implements. I'd go for a lime cheese cake and in about four months time, baked apples stuffed with sultanas, mixed spice and brown sugar (so it goes all caramely).

It's a zester. I wouldn't be without mine.
