I was offered one as friend’s doesn’t use it.
Should I take it or not? I don’t want to take it if I’m not going to use it as kitchen’s space is at premium.

I have slow cooker that I use for occasional roast beef and stews.

I have a slow cooker and a pressure cooker ( a very old one ) I use them about the same amount of times , it really cuts down on cooking time for things like veg/ spuds/ stews but i still find things like currys / chilli / speg bol are better off cooked slowly so I start them in the pressure cooker for about 20 mins then take the lid off and let them simmer for a hour or more

I'd take it, you can always pass it on if you don't like it.

I use mine for cooking things like oxtail, chickpeas etc that take a long time, & aren't suitable for the slow-cooker. Chicken stock is ready in 20-30 mins instead of hours. I sometimes just use it as an enormous saucepan.
Particularly useful in this weather !
