Steak tartare

Love this as a treat restaurant dish. I fancy recreating it at home, has anyone done this? I've bought a nice bit of fillet from butchers, but I'm getting cold feet 😂 feeding the family raw steak. Anything too tips?

I love it as well - but only from a restaurant.
They will only buy from a butcher where it has been handled correctly.
Your local guy will almost certainly expect it to be cooked, so it might be contaminated with bacteria that would be killed when heated.
Lots of lovely things to do with rare fillet though !
