Formula switching

I'm going to France on the over night ferry in 1 week and need to buy instant formula. We use cow and gate first infant milk but it's sold out of little bottles everywhere in Somerset. He's 6 months old, does anyone know if it's ok to buy a different brand just for journeys or to buy follow on? I don't want an upset baby on the journey. 5 hours in the car won't be fun if he's feeling poorly or rejecting it.

It's absolutely fine to switch, some switch regularly, some stay on the one brand.

I would try him with the other brand before the journey though Wink

Forgot to add that there's a section on infant feeding under "Feed the World". You may get a few more responses in there.

And enjoy your holiday! Wink

Can you not just order online via amazon or boots?
I'd give follow on milk rather than a different brand if you can't get any.

@PritiPatelsMaker thank you, I’d thought I best try before 😂 don’t want to get half way and him refuse or be sick.

@JLQ1020 no I’ve searched everywhere online. Amazon have some but won’t be delivered until 11th July which is no good as we leave on the 1st. I may have found some on ocardo but we will have to see if they still have it when the delivery comes.
