I'm making a beef in stout stew thing from my quick meals cook book and am supposed to use suet dumpling mix to make a dumplingy topping to go over the top. Just looked at my packet of Safeway vegetable suet and there are no instructions on the packet re how you mix up it up - honestly - really irritating gnash gnash grrrr grrr!. There is just some lame recipe on the side for sweet fried dumplings in syrup involving raisins and cinnamon.

So how do you mix up shredded suet mix to make dumpling mix?

Oh! why don't you make the sweet ones with raisins and cin. and leave 'em out of the stew. They sound soo delicious! (sorry!!)
