how do I make my cooked side of salmon look professional

Sorry about the title but I've just cooked a side of salmon in the oven and when I removed the foil there is quite a lot of whitish/creamy stuff on the salmon. I did put a few dabs of butter before cooking it. Is it better to remove it with a knife or is there something more appropriate so that if keeps his shape and looks only pink. Thanks for your help.

Yes scrape of any white bits, dress with fresh herbs and fresh lemon.

Wipe the 'impurities' off with kitchen paper.

Cut a cucumber in half lengthways, then thinly slice it so you get lots of semicircles of cucumber. Arrange the semi circles in lines along the salmon so it resembles scales. That's just for decoration.

Cut up some lemons into wedges as part of the garnish by the side of the salmon.

How about some capers too in a dish ? Tartare sauce in dishes ?

Lay a slice of cucumber on a slice of lemon. Cut into the centre of both so you you create a 'slit'. Stand the cucumber and lemon up with one half towards you and one half away from you so it can stand up. Just for decoration.
