help with baked camembert needed

Hi, I'm sure this is really easy to do, but have never made it before.

Okay, recipe says take off packaging and put back in wooden box, and then put in oven...but I bought a cheapie Sainsbury's own, and it's in a cardboard box.
Would this work okay, or will I end up with melted cheese all over my oven???

Also, some recipes say cut off top rind, some don't, just cut slits in it. Which will I do???

So, have bathed ds2, he's sleeping (fingers crossed)have put face on, prepped cheeses, and just poured a little vodka before guests arrive.

Only thing, y'all have worried me now about the timing...I'm reckoning on 15ish mins at 200C.

Should I do longer and lower (other stuff I'm making would be alright in a lower oven)

Keep the heat as it is, IIRC it takes a good 20 odd minutes to get melty, if not more, especially if it's wrapped in foil. Give it a prod now and then - if it's giving way near the middle, it's pretty much ready

guys, quick update before I go to bed, the cheese was fabulous, did it for 15 mins, then took out of the tinfoil for 5 mins or so, cos it didn't seem to be melting

Dh and I will defo be having this as a weekly supper, hmmm, actually could eat some more now, but it's all long gone, now I know why y'all were wanting some!!!
