Thawed quiche

I took some homemade quiche out of the freezer yesterday and DH and DS had it for lunch without reheating first. I expect it didn't taste the best, but would it have been safe? It would have been just thawed (in the fridge).

I wouldn't usually have questioned it but DS didn't want any breakfast this morning and complained of a sore tummy so I'm worried we've poisoned him now! He was still running around full of beans and still no D&V but I am worried...

Yes it would be safe. I make quiche and portion up to freeze. I use it for lunches and eat it cold. There is no need to reheat it. Quiche is a dish that can be eaten cold.

Ah that's a relief, thank you for responding! I did think so but started doubting myself!
I still feel bad for him that he's not himself but perhaps I can stop blaming myself a little.
