Chicken quesadillas...?

How do YOU make chicken quesadillas?

I worry that the (cooked) chicken won't get hot enough (because effectively you're reheating it right?) and don't want to 'poison' anyone so I end up burning the quesadillas.

Just wondering if this is even an issue when others make them?

I've never made a chicken quesadilla! If I did I would probably cook the chicken and use it straight away or if using leftovers heat it through in a pan in whatever seasoning you are using and a splash of water to stop it going dry.

I take it your chicken is pre-cooked? Therefore, assuming you have stored it OK, it shouldn't matter if you eat your quesadillas straight away. You can eat pre-cooked chicken cold anyway.

Yes I cook it and immediately cut up and put in quesadillas but it goes cold by the time I put it in. Will this be ok if the chicken gets warm again but not piping hot?

Yes, you're worrying for no reason.

I use left over roast chicken, never had a problem and always hot 😊
