I am weaning my 6 month old and found a recipe which includes oat flour, just went to Holland and Barrett and asked the shop assistant where their oat flour is and she gave me ground bran oats, will this be okay?

thanks

I wouldn't, bran will be mostly fibre with low nutrients. Designed for constipation rather than for actual feeding!
If you've got oats of any kind you can make the flour fresh by whizzing it round a grinder. Fresh is nicer anyway.
Use the bran up in other things - chuck it into soups and muesli etc. Won't do anyone any harm in small amounts.
