Aptamil 1 - digestive issues HELP

Hi everyone, my darling little one is 7 weeks old and has reflux. We have tried carobel and gaviscon (not together) and she is still so unsettled and crying during feeds, even if it is just formula. We are using Aptamil 1 and our healthcare provider has told us to switch formula as lots of babies have digestive issues since they changed ingredients. Has anyone else had this?
also, she mentioned that cow and gate are the same makers as Aptamil so I would love some recommendations on formula please! Thank you in advance

Have a look at Kendamill.
My baby is only a week old but it's loving this formula so far.
If you look into it it gets rave reviews. My last baby had reflux and we used the cow&gate anti-reflux formula for him which worked a treat.
Just know that when you make the switch it can take up to 2 weeks for your littles belly to settle.

Almost all the formulas are basically identical. There was a big push for Kendamil because it’s British made and has no palm or fish oil; but that change is the same one Aptamil have just made, so if that’s what’s upsetting your babies tummy, it won’t help.

We were advised to use Aptamil 1 by our hospital & the childrens hospital. The formula change hit my area when my baby was six weeks old, and he had a few days of horrible nappies which may or may not have been related, and it’s been okay since then.

Has the Carobel or Gaviscon ever worked? Have you had any allergy tests? I’d be wondering if you need a different treatment plan for the reflux, personally; but there’s no harm in trying other formulas if you want to. Will your healthcare provider prescribe a dairy and soya free one, to see if that helps?
