I have the Ninja smoothie maker/blender. Aside from banana/strawberry, what other smoothie recipes do you swear by? (can you please post the recipe!)

possibly not sweet enough for you if you’ve been used to fruity smoothies but I have this pretty much every day.

I stick celery
1/4 cucumber
1 carrot
handful bluberries
A very small avocado
splash of orange juice, just enough so it is wet enough to blitz

I blitz it up in a blender jug, not too finely so there is still plenty of fibre in it, then pour half in a sealable cup for the next day then I add matcha, moringa, spirulina and tumeric to the remainder in the jug, along with some water (I add this fresh to the cup the next day when I add water & shake that up and drink it)

I think it works out around 110 calories.

@Asimhereanyway Thanks for taking the time! That looks an interesting mix! Admit I did have to google moringa and spirulina! Would you add a teaspoon of these?
I'm not overly keen on celery, so may try it, or omit and substitute with spinach. Do you think that would work?

I chuck all this into a nutribullet:

big handful of spinach
chopped apple
chopped banana
bit of carrot and cucumber
few seeds - flax/chia
splash of cold apple juice
then top up with water

Soak 2-3 dates in coffee overnight
Blend with frozen banana, milk if your choice and a dessert spoon of peanut butter (sweetened for me please)

I put half a teaspoon in each, but I also have a matcha latte in the morning so put a half teaspoon of moringa in that too.

im not a fan of spinach but it will certainly blend. I have put kale in a smoothie in the past and that works too, it’s just not my favourite green!

the problem with all fruit or adding nut butters is that they do bump the calories up. I was shocked once to find a smoothie I was consuming was over 300 calories-I could have a sandwich for less that that!
