Does anyone have one, what do you think, and can you make dairy free and low cal options?

Thanks Smile

I do - makes fab ice cream. I go through phases of using it. Most of the time, I only use it a couple of times a month. I tried frozen yogurt without success, and now it's mostly ice cream and sometimes sorbet. The ice cream is definitely not low calorie!

I have one, and once it comes out of the cupboard it gets used a lot. Summer months mainly. Banana and coconut are my favs. No reason you cant go dairy free but you do have to make a custard to make the ice cream. Sugar is used not only to sweeten but also to help keep the ice cream, soft and creamy. You can play around with the recipes but you wont get it very low cal unless you look at frozen yogurts or sorbets ( which also need a fair bit of sugar).
