all the usual suspects.

Sausage rolls / cheese and onion rolls
sandwiches / filled rolls / wraps
chicken nuggets
vegetable crudities
crisps
pizza
breadsticks and houmous / dip
cheese and pineapple sticks

Anything at all, just pack it in a cool bag if it's warm.

Are other people taking things too? Coordinate so you don't end with 100 sausage rolls and nothing else.

Sandwiches / wraps / beige pastry things / cocktail sausages / pizza slices / hummous and pitta / crudites

One option would be to buy something near your destination. Alternatively, selection of cheese and crackers. Keep the cheese in a coolbag or coolish place. It's better near room temperature anyway.

Cheese straws?

Potato salad is much nicer at room temperature than fridge cold, to my taste, and easily transported in a container with a good seal.

Quiche or sausage rolls or some other pastry-based dish could be made in advance and frozen, then could complete their defrosting during the journey.

Is it for a picnic or inside, cutlery or more buffet, are you supplying all or part? Any allergies or intolerances?
nice bread, bread sticks, crisps, cheese scones. If you have a cool box then most things will travel so salad (cherry tomatoes, cut up cucumber and carrots if finger foods, leafy salads as well if not), quiche, pork pie, sausage rolls, cheeses, coleslaw, sushi, potato salad, ham, hummus, cooked chicken etc. Lots of possibilities.
