I have a large portion of chip shop chips left over from last night. Would love to make something with them for tea tonight. Any suggestions?

You could freeze them, then stick then in the oven for about 20-30 mins.
My friend told me this as our new chippy owners do major portions. They actually taste better after frozen cooking

Are they battered / orange chips or normal?

Battered chips?

Battered, orange, whatever you call them.

I often have leftover chips, the portions are so big and they do reheat really well. Other than microwave or airfryer as listed you could also reheat them in a frying pan or the oven depending on what you are having with them.

What is a battered chip?! Like literally, battered? I cnat see the pic since they shrunk them....

Fry in olive oil with salt, pepper and rosemary, sprinkle with parmesan.

You have leftover chips?

On the rare occasion we can't eat them all, the dog gets a little treat in her bowl.

Furrbabymama87 · 06/05/2022 12:33

Bin them, chippy chips are only nice fresh and hot.

We always buy extra to keep until Sunday morning when they are reheated in a hot oven and served with our bacon and eggs.
