Hi all!
I've been trying to create a sugar cookies recipe for the last few months that tastes like one's that I've had from Instagram bakers & Etsy and I just cannot seem to crack it.
No matter where I buy sugar cookies from online/locally, they all taste near enough the same. I have tried various recipes, different fondant brands (as the cookies I've purchased have always been fondant iced), I've tried adding flavourings like vanilla and almond into my fondant - I cannot get them even close to this holy grail, not so secret (as like I say, when I've purchased them they always taste the same regardless of who I've bought them from) recipe!
Can anyone help me? I have no desire to sell them or profit off of them or anything like that, I don't even care if they don't look great, I just want the taste to be there! People are charging around £15 for a box of 6 and it's so expensive but they're just so delicious 🫣
