Where's the Ravioli?

Is there a shortage of Heinz tinned Ravioli or has my supermarket just stopped stocking it? It's a guilty pleasure in this household and we don't have it often but it seems to have gone from the shelves. Has anyone else noticed this?

Not something I buy, but having seen this thread earlier, I now know that Waitrose stock it.

Ahh I shall check next time I go in (not my regular but also local!)

I have noticed this too in several supermarkets recently! I couldn’t get it in Morrison’s, Sainsbury’s, or Asda but I did recently manage to get it from Tesco.

Working on the every day is a school day assumption I googled Neptune's moons, turns out that it's Saturn that has ravioli shaped moons!

That's brought back the happy memory that the cook at my secondary school regularly served us tinned ravioli, always with roast potatoes and flabby green beans (probably also tinned), and invariably followed by steamed jam roll and custard. My favourite school dinner. Oh, to be young again. I've occasionally bought a tin of beef ravioli just for myself as nobody else here would touch it, and it's not been as lovely as I remembered. Hmm

Going off piste but Heinz spaghetti bolognaise is fab on toast.

Pashazade · 05/05/2022 18:49

Somehow the tinned bolognese seems even less respectable than the ravioli! 😂

Went to Sainsburys yesterday and noticed they had loads of tinned ravioli (only noticed because of this thread). Both meat and veg versions plus tinned macaroni cheese that I didn't even know was a thing.

Pashazade · 06/05/2022 18:39

I've managed to get some in Waitrose! Guessing our Sainsburys has stopped stocking it, apparently the Sainsburys own is nowhere near as good!

Ha. You're lucky. Our Waitrose didn't have any yesterday.

EdgeOfSeventeenAndThreeQuarter · 06/05/2022 19:01

Guilty pleasure here too. I like the Tesco own and always have a couple of emergency tins in the cupboard.

MrsDThomas · 10/05/2022 11:27

It was in my local tesco this morning. £1.40 for a big tin.

£1.40😱

Pashazade · 10/05/2022 13:18

Must admit I winced at the price when picking up my two tins in Waitrose!
