Picnic Ideas Please

Hi all, with it being the Easter holidays and nice weather we have had a picnic about 10 days out of the last 14, and it's getting a bit dull!

We basically have ham sandwiches, savoury such as sausage roll or chicken pieces, fruit and a dessert of some sort (cake, yogurt, mini malt loaf), and I'm bored!

Can anyone recommend some easy picnic ideas which would be suitable for me and my kids ages 5 and 2. No dietary requirements but would prefer finger foods rather than salad and stuff which needs cutlery.

Thanks in advance!

Mini-frittatas (made in Yorkshire Pudding tins), cheese scones, wraps (instead of sandwiches), cold pizza slices, cubes of cheese with grapes/cherry tomatoes, toasted pitta fingers with houmos. Any of those take your fancy?

For afterwards, fruit kebabs, interspersing fruit with marshmallows. Strawberries half dipped in chocolate. Frozen Frubes.

We like charcuterie-
cured meats (Parma Ham, Bresaola, Prosciutto)
cheeses (Manchego, Gruyère, mozarella balls- toothpicks to eat)
crackers, crostini, breadsticks
olives, grilled artichokes, cherrry tomatoes, cocktail gherkins
roasted almonds
strawberries, pears
yum!

Thanks everyone, some great ideas. I'm definitely going to do cheese scones and fruit kebabs for our picnic tomorrow. I loved frozen frubes as a kid so will be adding those to the shopping list with some of these other ideas for next school hols 😄

Those savoury flapjacks look amazing. Have bookmarked the recipe.
