I want like to loose a few pounds and try & be a bit healthier all round - I’m looking for some breakfast ideas I can have at work.

Can you throw some ideas at me please…

Skyr with blueberries and walnuts. You can bring it in a kilner jar if you want to use frozen berries from home.

Greek yoghurt with frozen raspberries or black cherries

Skyr or yogurt with berries and a sprinkle of sugar-free granola instead of walnuts

Bagel thin with thinly spread butter or low-fat spread and marmite

Bagel thin with thinly spread reduced fat cream cheese, smoked salmon and lemon

Bagel thin with crispy grilled bacon and freshly sliced tomatoes

Overnight oats with cinnamon, vanilla essence and grated apple or chopped banana

I take Weetabix in with grapes, banana and strawberries chopped up on top. I put it all in a container and just add milk in work.

Thanks both some nice ideas - apart from the overnight oats 🤢

Haha I am the same about the overnight oats. The texture is just 🤮

I do very low carb as I'm diabetic. My favourite breakfast is the 10% fat proper Greek yoghurt from aldi (not Greek style) with a small handful of mixed frozen berries and some chopped nuts. I know it's higher fat yoghurt but it makes it more filling and I have to have an energy source to replace those pesky carbs!

Also apple slices dipped in Greek yoghurt is lovely.

Do you have a microwave at work? I sometimes make little egg muffins, eggs, cottage cheese, ham, finely diced peppers and onions then poured into a muffin tray and baked. Then I freeze them in bags of 2. They take 30 seconds in the microwave from frozen.

Tbh, thta's the only one from the list that I haven't tried myself. Never got around to making them. Grin

An omelette and some nuts and maybe cheese. I don’t see the point of fruit at breakfast time. I want things that are filling.

You can make scrambled eggs pretty much as quickly as toast. That’s my favourite healthy breakfast. It keeps me from snacking on junk.
