DH brought home crème fraîche...

Instead of clotted cream (7.5 months pregnant & really fancied a cream tea but alas, there were also no scones).

What should I make with it? Some kind of pasta sauce? It's not something I usually buy.

No meat, but we do eat fish (although I don't have anything fresh in... I have tinned mackerel, tuna, anchovies though).

Just to say you need to send him back out for scones and clotted cream!

You can also have a small glass of wine if you fancy one.

leek and mushroom pie with pastry on top is a good use of Creme fraiche

I would have had it with the cream tea, hardly any difference as long as it was full fat.

I hate to break it to recent posters but it's been 10 days. The crème fraîche is long gone.
There were never any scones either, I did say that in the OP, hence why I asked for alternative ideas.

I use it to make a creamy chicken and chorizo risotto. Yummy
