Best combi microwave oven?

We are moving to somewhere with a small kitchen but two full size fan ovens. There are only 2 of us so I will rarely use the full size oven. At the moment I have a built in fan oven and a built in microwave combi oven, which we use all the time.

I'm planning to buy a free standing micro-combi oven, as large as possible, and need recommendations. If they include an air-fryer function, even better. We use our air Fryer loads, but won't have enough worktop space for both.

Budget isn't a problem as I'm hoping we will save money in the long run by not having to heat up a huge fan oven every time we fancy a couple of sausages.
Suggestions please!

Only ever had a Kenwood one and I'm afraid I'd never have one again. It was incredibly noisy operating as an oven, took forever to cook anything, and it gave up the ghost after eight years of relatively light use.

Thanks. That's disappointing, maybe another brand would be better?

I've just ordered one of these, but can't report back on it yet! But I have been looking at it for aaaages and one of my foodie friends has one and says it's brilliant. It is expensive, but is £60 off direct from Sage at the moment.

oh, that looks like a possibility. You'll have to update us once you've got it. I like the fact its got an air Fryer function as well.

I'd take out one of the ovens and put the microwave in the hole. Then you can have a decent air fryer on the surface

Could you replace the oven with a a combi oven to replace your current setup? I have two ovens, one with a built in microwave (by Bosch) and I would hate to go back to appliances cluttering the surface. Would be much more expensive though.

if you go for the Sage one (and I can’t offer any opinion there, though I love their kettle and espresso machine), they have a discount code across their whole site at the moment for 25% off (LCF25) which they should have removed from the site. If you miss that, I think they’re replacing it with a 15% (LCF15) which is still well worth it. Sounds like I work for Sage, I don’t, just lucked out with the discount code myself!

Apologies, I wasn't clear enough in my original post. The new house has a very large range cooker which has two full size ovens, so no possibility of replacing one.

We have the Panasonic combo oven. In fact our old proper fan oven needs replacing and have been procrastinating on replacing it as using the convection oven/micro button on the Panasonic combo allows you to bake a lasagne in a far far shorter time and tastes exactly the same.

I've had sharp combi ovens.
The first one lasted 9 years, the second is currently 6 years old and still going.
Both cost about 250 which isnt bad. Neither were "pretty" but both quick at warming up and could use oven and microwave or grill and microwave at the same time. I never did, but it was an option.
I've not the first clue about air fryers or that as a function.
