one less egg in banana bread?

The recipe I’m using is this:

1/2 cup butter softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs beaten
4 ripe bananas
1-1/2 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup chocolate chips

Will that be okay or too dense? can I add an alternative to avoid going out for the sake of one egg ?

Thanks

You don't need eggs at all. Bananas are a binding agent.

This is the best banana bread recipe I have ever used:

Yep bananas are a good egg replacement.

Or if you have any ground flaxseed you can make a flax egg - 1 tbsp flax and 3 tbsps water makes one 'egg', let it sit for 10-15 minutes before you add it.
