Food processing stuck bits of food in grater

So I love to make remoulade, various slaws etc. Got a Magimix for Christmas, but had this problem before. When I use the grater disc an irritating disc of raw vegetable gets stuck between the grating disc and the lid. However I try I can’t seem to avoid this. Also trying to feed the offending piece back through the lid feeder gets me know further iyswim.

Anyone recognise this problem and have any suggestions please?

I also get this issue and I don't really think it's resolvable - it's probably inherent in the design of food processors? If anyone has solved it I would be delighted but I have just manually cut of grated any final bits for mine.

There's always a small bit you can't get at. I either just chop that bit, manually, or if it's someting like carrot or butternut, eat it!

Thanks for your replies. At least I’m not alone in this dilemma! I was just wondering if I was missing a trick and using the wrong angle or speed or something Grin

It’s definitely better than the muscular effort required to manually grate the whole lot!
