I used to only eat really hot toast with drippy butter - for years and years; hot buttered drippy toast

And now I only want it cold with hard butter, if it melts I can't eat it

I am weird Hmm

It’s almost as if they are two completely separate meals, sometimes I want the hot , other times the cold.

If you're weird then so am I.

Jam or marmalade - cold toast and cold butter.

Pate, Marmite etc - hot toast and melted butter.

Hit toast with a big chunk of cold butter on. Got to be quick but it's heavenly Grin

I'm low carbing. I'd take it anyway!!!

But pre low carbing I'd be 'in the mood' for it one way or the other! Very different to eat!

I am with you.

So cold toast, buttered when cold. I eat beans/eggs with toast, not on and normally in a separate bowl, just incase, the juice seeps and makes a bit soggy, as then I won't eat it all, puts me right off.

I will however eat a hot cross bun, what with real butter on, but ai think that is purely as it's thicker, so a bit stays crunchy.

Oh yes. Cold toast. I take it out of the toaster and put it in the freezer.

Then apply real cold hard salted butter thickly enough to see your teeth marks in it.

Food of the gods!
