Any ideas?? I've just made a vast tiramasu but have put the maximum of cream it without making it a health hazard - I am thinking ice cream as an obvious choice. Any easy recipes out there?

Thanks - SL x

If you have ham (or bacon), and egg and some parmesan cheese, then pasta carbonara.

Thanks - good idea. Healthy day for me today!! Trying to think of something that I can put away for another day but the temptation is just to be a total pig!! SL x

macaroni cheese or cauliflower cheese? Just add grated cheese to the double cream et voila! You have your cheese sauce!

Thanks RGPargy - great idea too - do you think that would freeze? I hate waste and am trying to think ahead!! SL x

chocolate mousse?

Can you freeze cream? As a kid I know my mum used to buy bags of sticks of frozen cream that we used to nick and eat like minimilks! You could do it in ice-cubes and just pop out a couple when you need them.

If you whip the cream first, you can freeze it

Oh I remember those sticks of cream too RBH!! Thought they were the best ice creams in the world!!! Now I know why!

Will get whipping and get freezing - DH mutters about time & energy versus the couple of pounds the cream cost!!!

Thanks everyone
