Cooking two plus meals together ideas?

I’ve just put a whole chicken in the oven with a small ham. Roast chicken tonight, ham eggs and chips tomorrow and the rest used for lunches and a chicken stir fry Chinese style later in the week.

What else can I do - not the mince, spat Bol etc etc as I hate tomatoes sauce based meals.

Trying to save some energy pennies by being savvy with the oven. I’ve got a steamer, slow cooker, microwave.

One of my favourite 2 in 1 meals is slow cooked lamb shanks, served with veg on the first night then used the left over meat and sauce as a ragu with pasta on the second night.

Left over roasts I either mix with a gravy and add to pie dishes with a herb crust to make chicken pot pies or one of my other favourites is leftover roast pizzas.

Thank you, great idea. I have just put a lamb stew in the oven - almost went in the slow cooker - decided to cook jacket spuds for lunch too and added a butternut squash to roast on the shelf below for soup on another day. I’ll freeze half the stew for next week.

I like your pie idea, I’m going to use some of the roast chicken for a pie too if there’s enough left. Fortunately it was a large chicken 😊
