Vegan gluten free cake

I know… but anyone got any great recipes they’ve made? Preferably something a bit fancy looking.

I have an amazing vegan chocolate cake recipe I make often but I tried it with gf flour and the texture sucks.

Do you want it to be like a birthday cake, or would a large flatter cake work? If a traybake style, gussied up with nice icing would work, I do a cake with Doves Farm GF flour, though I put strong coffee in instead of the water

I've made this before but replacing the eggs with a vegan alternative (aquafaba) and doing a different frosting (sorry can't remember where I found the recipe for that)

I make it in a bundt tin which makes it look reasonably fancy. Generally, things like carrot cakes do well gluten free as less reliant on the flour to create the texture.

I’m making a birthday cake but have a variety of diets to cater for so I was going for something that does all of them in one but looks as special.

Nigella's chocolate olive oil cake topped with fresh berries and icing sugar to make it look fancy? I use 50:50 gf Dove's and ground almonds.

I made a chocolate protein powder banana bread the other day using oat flour (it says homemade but I bought it) both me and my husband devoured it - I'm gluten free but he's not!

I agree with @imayhavelostmymarbles! I have Becky Excell's 2 cook books as my sister is gf and her recipes are amazing. I am sure she must do vegan/gf
