Your best butter chicken recipe?

There are so many out there! Fast, slow, with coconut milk or double cream... I'd like it to be authentic-ish.

Found this one from Gordon Ramsay (but am skeptical of the almost 11k ratings). Very grateful for any tried and tested recipes, thank you.

This is my absolute favourite. I’m a bit lazy though so use passata instead of fresh tomatoes/blending.

Dishoom’s ruby chicken. It’s a faff but absolutely amazing

Thanks you two, both look good (though the ruby chicken looks seriously daffy)

This is the Gordon Ramsay one that I forgot to put in my post. Am curious if anyone else has made it

I’ve made the Gordon Ramsay version and it’s excellent.

The dishoom chicken ruby recipe is delicious. I've actually made it using half the amount of butter they suggest and it's been fine (it was a ludicrous amount that gave me a heart attack just thinking about it)

Risibisi · 10/03/2022 09:38

Foodiefee that's so kind, thank you. I'm not in the UK so can't take advantage, but maybe someone else can!
