I'm not a fan of rice soups which use a glutinous rice as a thickener (like an Asian congee) but otherwise your Brazilian soup recipe looks really nice.
You might like a traditional Scottish Cock a Leekie soup which has chicken, rice, leeks and prunes in a really tasty broth. There must be lots of online recipes but I can't recommend one in particular as we amend slightly every time depending on mood.
Or Pho: noodles instead of rice but the same principle of really good stock with additions. In Vietnam they serve it for breakfast with fresh chilli and it certainly gets you ready to start the day!
DH reagents soup every day for his lunch and smooth soups are better for microwave cooking so I batch cook leek and potato soup, celeriac soup, mulligatawny, carrot and potato made with ham stock, white onion soup and freeze them in individual portions. Perhaps some of these might be a change for you from stock soups?
