Hey everyone.

Please help me 😂😭 we have guests next week and they have 3 children aged (7-1)
I'm the worst cook ever 😭 so I was thinking of using my slow cooker for the 1st time 🤣

Anyone got any ideas of what I could make that maybe will feed the Children too ? Or should I
Make something for the children and a different meal for the rest of us ?
Or should I ask them 1st what their kids eat?

Why am I freaking out 😭🤣

I always think feed the kids with pizza as you can't go wrong with that and then you could use your slow cooker to cook for the adults. Maybe a pulled pork? Or I love this Chicken Korma recipe in the slow cooker

If you are not a confident cook I agree with the PP as pulled pork is so easy in the slow cooker. Serve in baps with shop bought pre-made salads, coleslaw and potato salad on the side in posh bowls so it looks like you made them. Easy!

Thank you. Got pulled pork then and pizza on the list for dinners 👍😃

How "smart" does it need to be? Because I'd go for something like spaghetti bolognaise which is easy, especially when making it in bulk, and everyone likes it. (and you can do it in the slow cooker if you prefer).

Otherwise I'd be buying rotisserie chickens from the supermarket and serving those with vegetables/salad/potatoes/bread! Grin

Not smart at all. I don't think 😳 they're not fussy people but every time they've visited in the past they got a grazing table 🤣🤣🤣 thought I'd better "cook" this time as they're staying 3 nights. Can't have sausage rolls every night 🤣🤣 might get a takeaway for one night

Chilli in the slow cooker and jacket potatoes in the oven then salad and bowls of guacamole, cheese and sour cream to add themselves. Kids can just have the jacket potato with cheese if they don't want chilli.

Yes to pizza, unless they have a gluten or lactose issues it's a good safe choice. Stick to cheese and tomato flavour though, lots of kids are weird about toppings.

Then takeaway for the 3 rd night.
