Good Housekeeping Mincemeat for Xmas pies recipe?

Fodders · 19/11/2004 09:41

....having difficulty sourcing ingredients for Delia's mincemeat recipe and really want to make my own for this year's mince pies.

I've heard that GH's recipe for mincemeat is straightforward, but I don't have the recipe myself.

I'd be grateful if someone would share it with me / give me another simple recipe.

Thanks in advance, k

Fodders - have just looked up in my GH baking book and the ingredients for mince pies includes "mincemeat - preferably home made" and that's it! Sorry - no help to you at all but made me smile and I thought it might you too... Good luck with mincemeat. I buy a luxury versiion and chuck in a bit of brandy as well.
