Has anyone made Schnitzelwith gluten free flour/breadcrumbs

I promised a friend I'd make her Schnitzel, which I am doing tomorrow night. We've a mutual friend we have now invited - who is gluten free. I'd like to continue with the menu as planned as the other friend is only just mixing with people and is looking forward to Schnitzel. (Long story on both fronts, won't bore you, it is what it is).
I have GF flour and can buy GF bread tomorrow to make the crumbs. I'd ideally would make all GF for ease (cross contamination not so much of an issue as GF friend is ok as long as she doesn't eat too much of something containing it).

Has anyone made it with GF ingredients? I usually beat the escalopes to thin them, dredge with flour, coat in egg and then breadcrumbs.
I've had past experience of GF bread not working so well in some recipes so just wanted to check with someone who had actually made them. GF friend could have 'naked' escalopes if necessary but I'd like to make us all the same if possible.

It'll work fine, gf breadcrumbs aren't that different from normal breadcrumbs, it's not like the issues with actual bread. (They sell GF pork schnitzels in the shops where i am, and they are perfectly fine)

It is easy , you can buy ready made GF breadcrumbs from Tesco/Morrissons etc I am vegetarian but i use them for a coating in a few recipes.
Or you can make your own with GF bread. They look and act just like normal breadcrumbs.

Thanks, I assumed that they would behave the same but thought it worth checking as I did have a fail with GF bread in a recipe once.
Thanks again

If you are not used to making GF bread, I wouldn't make it just for the breadcrumbs, it can be quite temperamental stuff. Like PP have advised, either buy them ready made or buy a loaf and whizz it up in the blender. I'd also leave the slices out to dry a bit to get better crumbs.

Yes was only ever going to buy bread for the breadcrumbs
