Boring question, but I haven't been able to get it for about a month now. Anyone know if its been discontinued or have all stocks been eaten up cos its so yummy?

Had the same problem and couldn't get it in any of the big supermarkets (DS addicted) but our local Somerfield has just started selling it. Hope this helps!

They seem to have changed the packaging of the yoghurts (and stopped making the banana flavour - ds1 is GUTTED) so maybe they're doing a similar revamp of the fromage frais?

PuffTheMagicDragon · 18/11/2004 20:42

Thanks, will see if there's a Somerfield near me, can't get enough of the stuff, never mind ds1 & 2!

I think they may have stopped making it, they now seem to have 2 packs of yogurt - 1 all strawberry flavour and the other mixed fruit but no apple and pear or banana, which are my little boy's favourites, I have given Mums4 a try and he seems to really like it, which is great as it doesn't have any sugar added to it!!

We're in a long-term sulk about the demise of banana in our house too. Have not managed to get the fromage frais for three weeks on our Ocado delivery now. Boo to Yeo Valley, these were very popular!

GeorginaA · 19/11/2004 10:03

I think we should all write to Yeo Valley and complain about the lack of banana (and the all strawberry packs - my boy LOATHES strawberry or raspberry and I always get lumbered with them ) Anyone know an email address for them?

Marina · 19/11/2004 10:17

I think the cheeky rascals have phased out our fromage frais and fobbed us off with this less appealing product HERE
Gggrrrr. I see there is a talk to us button on the website. I will be doing just that.

babster · 19/11/2004 10:18

Good idea. Dd1 keeps asking about the banana ones too. You can still buy the Noddy ones in Tesco, but they're really runny and messy for dd2. Bring back banana!

babster · 19/11/2004 10:20

www.yeovalley.co.uk - Talk to us

Let's get writing!

GeorginaA · 19/11/2004 11:16

Done.

They should do a 4 pack of banana really - I can't be the only mother raising bananaholics can I?!

PuffTheMagicDragon · 19/11/2004 11:25

Yo! Mumsnet Power Rocks!

Banana will be back - eventually (a few months). Just had a reply to my email from Yeo Valley - I guess it's a standard reply so you'll all be getting the same.

katzguk · 19/11/2004 14:53

was going to say hope you can still get noddy one's from tescos.

GeorginaA · 19/11/2004 16:24

I got a standard reply about the sugar and fruit content and barely mentioned the withdrawal of banana until the end?! Then said they'd withdrawn banana and apple as research showed them as unpopular!!

Glad they read my comment then...

PuffTheMagicDragon · 22/11/2004 16:34

Just had a nice email from Yeo Valley customer services about the fromage frais. It won't be available for a few months, but will be back on the shelves at some point.

They're building a special new place to make it but have to suspend production for a while until building works are completed.

I was getting hooked on the stuff, kept eating all of ds1 and ds2's supplied - will just have to go cold turkey!

yes I noticed this.

I normally get these aswell, and have found sainsburys and tescos stock them! HTH

purplehaze · 28/11/2004 09:46

Hi my local Tesco's stock it!!!! and they also do the bananna noddy ones.

XX

hercules · 28/11/2004 10:10

I thought I was the only one who cared! Our tescos do a new more fruity one but dd doesnt like it. I think they do the noddy one too but i''ve never thought to get it till now that is.

Sonnet · 29/11/2004 08:56

We are alos gutted in our house - bananna the favourite, strawberry left to mould in fridge - and all sold out in every supermarket in a 15mile radius - yes I'm that sad.
I have alos Emailed Yeo valley - by the time they bring fromm frais back my DDs will have fond seoemthing else!
Mums4 any good?
Noddy goes down well
we also love apricot too in this house!

Marina · 29/11/2004 10:06

Well, we tried "yummy Strawberry Jumble" last night on dd and she spat it out and rubbed it into the tablecloth and her hair. Come on Yeo Valley, get a move on with your building plans!

Marina · 29/11/2004 10:07

dd will eat Rachel's Greek Yogurt with honey - comes in large tubs. Nice with a cinammon/sultana baked apple...
She has swiftly sussed that Mums4 has no sugar
