Help please. Throwing informal meal with friends and it has to be chicken. Would like to make it as easy possible so will do with potatoes/ bread and plenty of salad.

Are you using a whole chicken or breasts, thighs?

This [[https://www.deliciousmagazine.co.uk/recipes/harissa-honey-chicken-tabbouleh/ Harissa and honey chicken is lovely with salads.

I love almond chicken (which doesn’t taste at all like almonds)

Mix ground almonds with any kind of seasoning - all purpose, Turkish style, Jamaican etc, salt and pepper then drizzle chicken thighs with olive oil and coat in the almond mix. Bake for 25-30 minutes, it comes out with a crispy-ish coating that’s absolutely delicious.

Perfect with salady bits

Chicken and cous cous....you can either go plain roasted chicken and fancy pants cous cous with all the things in it, or the other way around. Either way you can get it all done before hand, serve at room temp

Poussins can be fun if it's informal, but occasionally folks are weird about the babychickens. 8)

Great big chicken, bean, sausage thing...french, I have forgotten the actual thing

Or go more traditional and Coq au Vin.

Cassoulet...that's the chicken sausage bean thing!

Salad, coleslaw, herby new potatoes, roast chicken, crusty bread. Be creative with the salad!

Chicken thighs or breast marinated in lime juice, fresh coriander, olive oil and seasoning. Griddle or bake.

I'm making chicken schnitzel with salad for dinner tonight.

Boneless skinless chicken thighs, flattened with a meat mallet, marinate in buttermilk/grated garlic for a few hours, then dipped in flour, then egg, then a panko/paprika/parmesan coating, and fried.

It's delicious.
