Roasting tin for making fish pie/ cottage pie

Hi,

I've always used ceramic or pyrex for making these pies but need to make enough for 25 people in limited oven space. My lasagne dishes aren't that big - could I use roasting tins? My gut feeling is no, because certainly with the fish pie recipe, the sauce would catch and burn.

Any words of wisdom, please?!

I usually use enamel pans (like these) for fish pie, shepherd's pie etc., and never had a problem. I would imagine a roasting tin would behave pretty similarly.

could you use some of those disposable catering ones?

I often use roasting tins for dishes like this - no problem with anything burning.
