Hi everyone, we are trying to eat healthy but I have 2 duck breast to cook tomorrow. Could anyone recommend how to cook and what to put with them? I've never actually cooked duck before. Thank you

Skin side down into cold frying pan, bring to high heat until skin crispy. Turn over-technically I think most chefs would say then place in oven to cook, but I just leave in pan and cook On the job like a beef steak (I like it rare but it’s personal choice).

Serve with a dressed salad or veg cooked in butter

The one and only time I cooked duck, I boiled some new potatoes first then cut them into thick slices. Cooked the duck skin side down in frying pan till crispy and the fat rendered, then turned it over until just cooked through. Out of pan and onto a plate to rest under foil. Meanwhile add the sliced potatoes into the duck fat pan and fry them until crisp. The fat is the best bit! Have some green salad on the side to balance out the richness.

I love duck, my favourite...

Rub some Chinese 5 spice and a little oil into both sides of the duck, fry each side for a few mins, skin side down first then transfer into over dish and over for 15/20mins.

In the meantime in your pan fry some noodles. In a separate pan mix honey and soy sauce, about 4tbs each and heat, pour over the noodles, top with sesame seeds and spring onions and add your duck
