Hello all. I'm in need of Keith's recipe for POTÉE AUX LENTILLES which I believe is in his book; Floyd on France. If anyone has said book, please, please, please could I have the recipe Smile

I don't, but the series is on iPlayer if that helps? Not sure if watching 6 hours of TV just in case the recipe is featured is a very good use of time, though!

Wildernesstips · 05/01/2022 18:43

I’m going to look now.

@MarisPiper92 it's a fantastic recipe but definitely not worth watching 6 hours of Keith Floyd for Grin

Also, if anyone fancies making it....I think it's much nicer if you use chorizo instead of the smoked sausage.

I have 3 copies of that book and have never tried that recipe.

The veal dijonnaise recipe is excellent, and works well with pork.

HeySeamus · 05/01/2022 19:05

In which case, I think I should definitely purchase it. I used to have a photocopy of the lentil recipe but I've lost it Confused

Can't Frenchfancy let you have one of their 3 copies?

FawnDrench · 05/01/2022 19:29

You can get a "good condition" used paperback copy on Amazon for under £4 with free postage.

HeySeamus · 05/01/2022 20:21

Sorry for the delay in reply - been to Lidls to get garlic and thyme Grin
Yes, I'll probably get a copy from Amazon or fleabay later (once I've cooked my stew).

I don’t think I’ve made much more than the Basque Chicken. Might actually have a flick through now 😄.

Frenchfancy · 05/01/2022 21:22

Cheaper to buy the £4 one than pay the postage from France.

HeySeamus · 06/01/2022 07:50

100% agree @Frenchfancy. I bought one from ebay for £2.03 including postage. I'm not sure that would even cover UK postage Shock

What a brilliant recipe - fry onions, put all other ingredients in the pot. Cook for an hour. The antithesis of Nigel Slater Grin. Although I do love Nigel.

Bought this book on the back of this thread. So well written!
