Hi
Has anyone bought either/both of these and if so what are your thoughts.
I've seen the always pan on Mili Taylor's IG page and I know she did a give away including one...

I don't really need a new pan right now as have plenty probably too many but a couple of pans are probably nearing their end...and I do keep looking at the website...

Please tell me they are awful so I can break my infatuation

I only have the Always Pan, not the pot. I like it BUT only because of how my situation transpired.

I bought it in an offer around black friday (for £85) on a whim, I too had seen it on instagram and needed some new pans so just went for it. DH, much more sensibly, ordered a whole set of really nice pro cook pans in their black friday sale. We normally communicate about purchases but didn't on this one, so we decided we'd return the Always Pan when it arrived (I also read some things online about the non-stick wearing out quickly). I went through their returns process, when asked for a reason I said "can't really justify the price, impulse purchase" and THEY REFUNDED ME AND TOLD ME I DIDN'T NEED TO SEND THE PAN BACK. So I still have the pan, but now it was free.

Things I don't like about it:

  • You can't use it to cook anything on a high heat, only low-medium.
  • It can't go in the oven (I assumed it could, but no)
  • It has a little raised circle on the handle that slots together perfectly with the wooden spoon they send you, but other utensils therefore can't be rested there as they don't have a hole to slot into (and the bump stops it from being able to rest normally).

Things I do like:

  • Steamer basket is useful
  • It looks beautiful
  • The non stick is good so far, but I haven't had it very long
  • It is generally a good pan

ah thank you - that sounds like a good way to own it... I'm a little dampened down following your review so thank you again!
