Trying to plan a hot buffet for 10 adults and 9 children. I want to go down the italian route rather than sausage rolls etc... Dpes this sound enough??
*2 x Lasagnes and 1 smaller vegi lasagne
*1 pan of pesto pasta
*1 pan of tomato pasta
*2 or 3 large pizzas
*garlic bread
What else do I need??
Thanks in advance x

Caprese salad? Olives for nibbling

Instead of so much pasta, I’d be tempted to do pesto gnocchi and this risotto (which is delicious with garlic bread]]. I’d serve a green salad too

Mozerella salad? Bruschetta? Feta salad (albeit not Italian is yummy). Gnocchi is lovely too… or a ravioli, risotto is lovely but time consuming if you want to be present with your guests

I wouldn't do so much pasta. Maybe some salad or pinzimonio (raw carrot, fennel etc) with olive oil or dips, olives, mozzarella, grissini, or maybe grissini wrapped in prosciutto?

It’s really heavy! I would definitely add a tomato, mozzarella, basil, red onion salad with balsamic vinegar and back pepper. Also a green salad.
I’d also swap your veggie lasagne for macaroni cheese (v popular with children) get rid of the pesto pasta and make your tomato pasta an arabiata.

You could also add in some arancini.

I’d sack one of the pastas off and do different breads, oils and vinegars maybe roasted herby tomatoes and garlic (can just sit in the oven for ages!) you can.
A salad of some sort

Thank you - I'll do some of the salads suggested instead of the tomato pasta.i love a caprese salad. Ive got some olives too and some tomato and herb bread aswell as garlic bread.
