New Years Day lunch

We normally have another roast New Years Day lunch but fancy something different this year. Any suggestions?

Will be 4 adults.

Steak pie is quite traditional around these parts.

We are doing Jamie Oliver beef wellington!

Beef bourguignon, braised cabbage and creamy mash

Pie and mash here.

Plus the red cabbage I couldn’t be arsed to cook for Christmas dinner.

We are having tuna steaks with a garlic balsamic glaze, parmentier potatoes, samphire and roasted tomatoes. (If I can get the samphire).

I'm cooking a turkey joint (a small one I bought a froze incase we couldn't do the Christmas shop)

But duck would be lovely !
Or steak and garlic spuds

Beef seems way to go! Think beef bourguignon and mash sounds perfect. Can put that on to cook slow.
